Haggai - Does Obedience Matter?

edge

When I ignore offering, does it matter? Does my giving to God affect the king of income God gives me? When I see something on the Internet and dive deep into something my eyes shouldn't see. Does it matter? After all, it is private. Things in my private life don't impact my public life… or do they? Join us as we look at Haggai and learn why obedience matters to God.

2 Samuel 3 - Seeking Peace

In May of 2016, John Houser opened fire in a movie theatre. Teacher Allison Martin and her friend, Jena Beaux were credited with helping save lives after the gunman opened fire. They shielded others with their bodies. Both of them were shot. Allison managed to pull the fire alarm emptying the 300-person theatre complex before more were injured and killed. When police arrived, John Houser turned the gun on himself and took his life. When interviewed after recovering in the hospital, Allison talked about the importance of forgiving the man who shot her. Join us as we learn how to work for peace and forgive those who hurt us.

Philippians 2:14-15 - Why Is Grumbling Worse Than COVID-19?

This week, President Trump told the nation that social distancing will remain in place until the end of the month. While everyone is thankful for a government that protects its citizens, the social isolation and lack of employment is a heavy burden on the heart. At times like this, it is easy to grumble, whine, and complain. When we turn to God's Word on this topic, we learn that grumbling is dangerous. It is a serious sin. It is not to be part of the Christian life. Join us as we we learn what God says about how to handle tough times without a grumbling heart.
